Hi, I’m Jo, the founder of Curate my move. I’m based in South London and have spent over 15 years helping people through all kinds of moves — from upsizing and downsizing to family relocations, merging households, international moves, and even temporary transitions.
What makes me a little different is the mix I bring: I genuinely love organisation (yes, even spreadsheets!) and I have a real passion for making life easier for people. For me, it’s not just about logistics — it’s about helping you feel supported so the moving process can actually be something you enjoy.
Moving has always been part of my story. I grew up in a Royal Navy family, so relocating regularly was simply a way of life. At the same time, my husband, three children and I have lived in the same house for over 25 years — so I know all too well how possessions can build up over time. That balance of experiences means I truly understand different aspects of the moving journey.
I’m always happy to chat — on the phone or in person — so you can discuss your home move plans and I can suggest how we might best support you
You can relax knowing we’ll stay on top of the details and get everything done.
We know moving can be stressful. We’ll support you with sensitivity, care and understanding whenever you need us
Whatever comes up, we’ll find a solution. And when needed, we call on our trusted network of suppliers to make things happen.
We work at your pace, and we believe a little laughter makes the process lighter
We love helping you find new homes for your unwanted treasures – whether that’s through direct donations or raising funds for a charity of your choice.
We aim to send as little as possible to landfill. What can be donated, is. What can be recycled, will be. We’re committed to making your move kind to the planet.
